About me

Hello. First time for you being here? First time. Relax, this is not an interrogation! I didn't mean to be unpolite. I am a blog. I know you know I am a blog. I am nothing special. I am coloured and decorated, but I do nothing more than reflecting thoughts and stories about life. You think it's enough to be boring and being ignored? I do. :) Please keep on ignoring me as long as you want. But if you ever find yourself catching a thought...a thought you know it must be remarkable, a thought about something you're finally aware of... then you know where you can find me. Please, share it with me that day! :)

Numero 20 - Hoplessness

Italy's main problem is corruption.
Italy is the second most corrupted country in Europe, the first is Greece.
Reading the papers everyday, hearing lies everyday from the media, the governament... makes eveyone as if we're freezing in a long, endless tunnell...

Numero 19- Edge

Had lovely pasta with tuna! <3
Made it too much though, I had to throw half of it in the bin!

The link below is a video by a girl who made a brilliant interpretation of the poem written by Sylvia Plath, Edge.

I have recently been reading The Bell Jar and I found it interesting, even fundamental to really understand most of her poetry.

Numero 18 - Scazzed

This is one of my World Sucks moments, so please run away if you don't feel in the mood of sharing it with me!
I feel bad again...because nothing works here, because every effort honest people make in Italy will be wasted by a not honest culture, by decieveness (will that be a word? Oh, can't be bothered to check it on the online dictionary!), by the bad example of our Prime Minister and the Governament which totally murder any dream of equality and evolution.
I was talking with my mum about generations...
My generation can't wait leaving forever this country. And the thing is, we don't even hate our culture, our roots, our habits (our food!)... it's just that we can't trust any of the Heads, any of the leaders, because they'll be corrupted for sure. What's the point in staying here?
And what's the point in studyig law, if powerful people just don't respect it or create it as it suits them in the easiest way to solve their own problem?
Today, just before writing here, I was thinking: "I am studying law because I'll make people respect it".
Hahahahahaha dreams...
in Italy dreams never become true...
Unless you are the Prime Minister's lover, or you join a reality show, or you are looking forward to giving yourself to an old, yellow almost-dead man.
But my morality wouldn't allow me doing that. :\

Numero 17 - Sunday

Sunday.
Lazy, fat, domestic Sunday. I often spend my Sundays wearing my jammies and studying all day with a cup of tea on my desk. Shops are closed, everyone's at home with the whole family, the whole world is silent and desolate. I am more a Saturday person :) I love chaos in the streets, new faces on the way, long, happy nights.
But today my parents and I went out for lunch and stuffed ourselves with anything eatable on the way: delicious ham, salame and mozzarella cheese as a starter, pasta with cream and lemon, nice and soft meat with apple and nuts -ç- ... oh, and a delicious chocolate roll with orange's cream. I am not what you'd call an Italy Fan, but I can't deny that our cult for food really is something special :)
Oh, I don't know why I keep on posting this random pictures. Like this one! They're all taken by me... .
The thing is that I can't be bothered taking pictures of any single thing happens in my life just in order to show other people what I do. "Why the hell do you keep a blog???" you could say... well, I don't know! I am kind of against this reality-on-web blogs where people just show their life and become famous without having any real talent... .

Numero 16 - Romeo and Juliet

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yePTx_Q79yQ

"Juliet, the dice was loaded from the start,
and I bet
and you exploded in my heart
and I forget... you know the movie songs
When are you going to realize it was just that the time was wrong? Juliet...."

Numero 15 - Pull

Uff.
I suppose keeping a blog is making an effort in patience and constancy.
But exams are finally OVER and I'll have more free time to post here!
These are the photos of last Saturday! I love pull, even though I am really bad with it. I learnt how to play when I was in Scotland, in an old, scubby pub.
I wonder why photography has become so popular in the last 2, 3 years. Maybe I was too young to notice it before, haha.
I actually think that one reason is the growing popularity of blogs, and the necessity to communicate everyday feelings with few, simple words. A photo can be vibrant of feelings, and it doesn't need any effort to watch it.
The bad thing of being a photographer is that you never appear in pictures. And despite all the rumours about photographers hating being photographed, I actually like looking myself through a picture!
Taking photoes at myself just like every blogger on earth does, is out of question. I feel so stupid and self-centerd and not natural...

Numero 14 - Asian food to fight the hangover

I woke up with the horrible sensation of being into a sinking ship. I went to this pub at the centre yesterday night, just a couple of hours to relax and not thinking about exams, but tiredness and an empty stomach made my medium beer the most dangerous poison ever.
I don't generally hold out alchol that much, but not as piteously!
At 12.oo everything was spinning so fast that I had to sit and eventually lay in bed for an hour. I woke up feeling veeeery hungry, so I had miso soup and lovely chinese noodles. Didn't take a picture of them because I was too hungry!
Now... I've got to wait for the hangover to cease. If it doesn't in half an hour I'll probably try with coffee, it always works.
